Laredo Bridge Webcams

Ever want to go to Nvo. Laredo but you dont know how packed the bridge will be? Well, try logging into the city of Laredo website where you can monitor the traffic via webcam. There you can view the traffic on the local bridges and even on the Mexican side. Then you can see if its worth going over to el otro lado to visit abuela, buy those morning after pills, or stopping by Hamburguesas el Rio for some tasty eats. Mmm good. You can view the cams here.

I've been meaning to ask Laredoans what their opinion is on the Sunday news segment CNN aired a while back...about livecams and how the average citizen can tune into this live footage with merely a comp and internet...it sounded to me like they were calling for people to take the law into their own hands and persecute illegal immigrants caught on tape. Why would the average news-seeking person want to know anything about that? I understand if they had made reference to authorities using this as a resource, but they specifically pointed out the availability this provides to the mass public.
