Lemurs Tshirt

So I went to the Lemurs game earlier tonight and I was finally able to witness the home team come out victorious. Attendance was rather low which is probably due to the Lemurs' losing ways. However,  one of the benefits of having a sparse crowd was that I was finally able to nab some of the freebies that are thrown out into the stands.  Take a peek at the awesome t-shirt I got.

Nice shirt! Go Lemurs. The front of the t-shirt is nice enuff.

WTFB! Too bad the back is spoiled by a BadNewsBears moment

A Late look at the #Lemurs

I know I am late with these photos so take it easy on me. I had intended to upload a few shots of the opening night of the Lemurs game, but with all the excitement and the cracker jacks overload, I accidentally erased the pics from my phone. Luckily, I had already done a quick back-up on my laptop so I was able to rescue several pictures that I thought were lost forever. *Tears

The Lemurs seem to be having a rough start, but it's a long season. I have to say that I liked the stadium itself, in all its unfinished glory. We do hope to see you out at the game before the end of summer, especially on dollar beer night!

Lemurs

Since I cancelled DirectTV last week,  I will no longer be able to watch my beloved Texas Rangers on television. Because of that, I am looking forward to the start of the Lemurs baseball season in order to entertain myself during the long summer nights.  According to their website, the season begins in 1 month and 3 weeks from today. I have my glove ready to go for the opening day. Can we just play ball now?

Laredo Lemurs

Laredo's upcoming baseball team will feature a Lemur as a mascot.

Honestly, I don't think its a bad mascot or a bad name, but I'm sure that many people reached for their dictionaries when they first heard the news. I'm certain that many people will angrily voice their disapproval and I'm sure the jokes are already beginning to be produced all over the local interweb, but I like it.

Besides, it could have been worse..right?  Go to their official site for more information.

BorderTown Laredo

It has been over 10 years since the show aired, and its high time it got a bit of coverage on this old blog. But first I have to watch it. N...
